After breakfast, you would set out your Delhi sightseeing tour. The major political and economic hub of India, Delhi is a city with imperial beauty. There are lots of monuments in Old Delhi and New Delhi. Explore the Mughal monuments of Old Delhi, like Red Fort, Jama Masjid and the Chandi Chowk market. Pay tribute to the Father of Nation at Raj Ghat Memorial. Post lunch, tour the New Delhi, the creation of Lord Lutyen where you will see the colonial monuments, like India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan. Visit the Qutub Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb and the colorful markets. Dinner would be served at an exotic restaurant.
Early morning drive to Haridwar. On arrival you would be received by our tour representative who would drive you to the Rishikesh yoga ashram. In the afternoon, explore the city, Laxman Jhula and the River Ghats and temples. There are yoga ashrams which are known worldwide as major centers of philosophical studies. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.
On the fourth day your India yoga and meditation tour will start. You would follow a routine on each day. Yoga and meditation experts will teach you the techniques and deliver lectures. Each day’s activities include Meditation classes, Yoga class, Breakfast, Lunch, Lecture on yoga and meditation, Yoga & Meditation Classes. Overnight in the Ashram in Rishikesh.
After breakfast, drive to Shivpuri. On arrival check in at a nature camp resort. In the afternoon, go on a jungle walk around the nature camp. Explore the flora and fauna. The natural beauty of the place will mesmerize you. Evening bonfire camp dinner.
Get up early for a yoga class. After breakfast, drive to Byasi. Start your water rafting up to Shivpuri. Hit the rapid waves of Ganga. Leisure and lunch at the nature camp resort. Evening relaxation class followed by bonfire camp and dinner.
Early morning drive to Hindolakhal. On arrival, trek to Kunjapuri. It will take one hour to penetrate the thick forest. See the sunrise on greater Himalayan peaks. Drive back to the Nature Camp resort. The rest of the time you enjoy your own activities. You can drive to Chilla to embark on a jungle safari. Overnight at the camp.
This morning an advanced yoga class will be held where yoga experts will be asking you questions about your trip. After the class check out from the camp and then start your rafting down to Rishikesh. Lunch at Brahmapuri. Drive to Haridwar. Board the train to Delhi. You can also opt for a car ride. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Drive to Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. The first planned city in India, Jaipur is surrounded by a 20 feet high wall. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, explore the city; the best would be a rickshaw ride to feel the beauty of pink city. After dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.
The full day is reserved for your sightseeing in Jaipur. In the morning, drive to Amber Fort and explore this majestic Rajput fort located on a hillock. Don’t miss out on an elephant ride here. Go back to the city and explore its royal palaces and museums. Tour Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Albert hall Museum and astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar. Explore the colorful bazaars. After a Rajasthani dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.
On the 14th day of Meditation & Yoga tour, you will drive to Agra, enroute of which you will be visiting the abandoned city, Fatehpur Sikri which once served as Mughal capital during the rule of Akbar. This red sandstone city houses buildings, mosques and palaces. Check in at your hotel after arrival. Later in the afternoon, tour the majestic Agra Fort, once the major administrative and residential hub of the Mughal capital. Explore the local markets and buy souvenirs. After a Mughlai dinner, stay overnight.
In the early morning, explore the Taj Mahal. Sunrise is the best time to explore the marble beauty of Taj. This monument wears a majestic look at the sunrise time. After exploring Taj, drive back to Delhi, after which we will drop you to your destination.
